AbstractThis paper presents the teaching experience developed in the two subjects of the teaching unit of Public Economics, in the Degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of San Pablo CEU, specifically in International and Spanish Tax System I and II. The proposal was designed and implemented in a progressive and homogeneous way in both subjects. However, we took into account the students' previous knowledge and their personal maturity. The modifications introduced have sought to improve our students' learning, bringing them closer to professional practice, allowing them to acquire not only knowledge but also skills that they will need in their professional future. In this sense, the changes have been aimed at developing skills such as: the capacity for analysis, reasoning and synthesis, collaborative work (with peer assessment), oral expression, creativity and autonomous learning.Experience shows that with the training activities proposed, students feel more motivated and committed to their own learning, which translates into an improvement in their academic results, as well as in the teaching quality of the unit's teachers. Keywords:
